Who we are
At Planex Group of Companies (PGC) we support farmers in
Africa to make agriculture productive and sustainable, so that
Africa can feed the world. We do this through a unique value
chain approach whereby we fill in the missing links in the value
chain either through creating new companies, partnering with
existing companies or supporting sector initiatives to fill the gap.
We currently have 24 full time staff members and operate a
2,100 m2 agri-input bulking center in Namanve industrial park in partnership with Microfinance support center and have
headquarters in Ntinda, Kampala.
What We Do
Planex is the exclusive distributor in East Africa for ADM animal
nutrition, including aqua feed and is interested in all agricultural
value chains including poultry, piggery and horticulture.
However, currently most of the groups activities are focussed on
Aquaculture under Planex Aquaculture.
